What the Calendar Shows

  • Committed dates – A block on a date means the boathouse or the event space is spoken for. An open date is a good sign, not a confirmation; dates are held only once the club confirms them.
  • Club dates – Meetings, work parties, and member events as they are scheduled.
  • What it does not cover – Daily practice times, launch schedules, and the regatta calendar are not kept here. See the links below.

Looking at a specific date for a wedding, party, or meeting? Check it first, then send it to us through Event Space Rentals. For film, television, or photography, start at Film and Photography Location Inquiry.

Where Else Dates Live

Racing on the Schuylkill is scheduled by the regattas themselves and by the Schuylkill Navy of Philadelphia, not by individual clubs. Race weekends close Kelly Drive and put the river under traffic restrictions, so check them before planning a visit or an event.

  • Schuylkill River Schedule – The Schuylkill Navy’s master schedule of regattas, river events, and closures.
  • Rowing Links – The Philadelphia regatta calendar, river conditions, flow limits, and water quality.
  • Youth Rowing – Summer session dates, fees, and registration for junior and novice programs.
  • News and Updates – Safety notices, river closures, traffic pattern changes, and season results.
  • By-laws, Rules & Safety – Rules of the river and the restrictions that apply during regattas and high water.
